A peek behind The Counter

The Counter was lovingly brought to life in 2020 by local mum-of-three Ruth.

After years of working in the NHS, which latterly gave way to busy family life, it was Ruth’s dream to create The Counter – and bring quality, local bread, sandwiches and coffee to the Grayshott community.

Doing so in the middle of a global pandemic was no mean feat. But Ruth is passionate about her vision. She’s committed to creating a family-run, independent, community-rooted coffee shop. And with a focus on quality ingredients from local suppliers, fresh lunches prepared daily, and friendly service, The Counter is a little corner of Grayshott you won’t want to miss.
